LaLa Hsu is a unique songwriter in the Chinese music industry. 2008, she participated in the third ‘Super Avenue of Stars’ singing contest and made her debut by winning the ‘Grand Champion’ in the grand finale on 15 August of the same year. 2009, 29 May, LaLa Hsu released her debut solo album, ‘LaLa Debut Songwriting Album’, and so far, she has officially released 6 solo albums and 3 concert albums. In 2010, LaLa Hsu won the Best New Artist Award at the 21st Golden Melody Awards for her debut full-length album. 2015 LaLa Hsu was shortlisted for six awards at the 26th Golden Melody Awards for her album ‘Finding People’. 2018 LaLa Hsy won two awards, the Best Mandarin Album Award and the Best Mandarin Female Vocalist Award for her album ‘Heartology’ at the 29th Golden Melody Awards. 2022 LaLa Hsu won the Best Mandarin Album Award and the Best Mandarin Female Solo Artist Award at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards for the song ‘All of the above is not true’. In 2022, LaLa Hsu won the Best Single Producer Award for her song ‘None of the Above’ at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards. 2023, LaLa Hsu was shortlisted for eight awards at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for her album ‘Giving’, and won the Best Composer Award. In 2023, LaLa Hsu held her ’Sometimes, less is more’ tour, and in 2024, she launched her Mainland China tour, making her music career an all-round success!
