Fish Leong, Malaysian Chinese female singer, debuted in Taiwan in 1999, “love song diva”, “healing diva” and “the light of Malaysia” of the reputation, his works have also been labeled as “love songs Bengay”, “Liang-style love songs”. In September 1999, Jasmine Leung finally released her debut music album, Growing Up Overnight.
In August 2000, she released her 2nd album “Courage”. The song of the same name “Courage” made her famous almost overnight, and became the golden song of love for generations. Not only did it win the championship in the 2005 100 Classic Songs of Hope Internet Voting, but it is still one of the KTV’s popular tracks. This album sold 250,000 copies in Taiwan and 1.2 million copies throughout Asia.
In June 2001, the 3rd album “Shining Star” was released, and in February 2002, the 4th album “Sunrise I Like” was released.
In February 2003, the 5th album “Beautiful Life” was released, which not only kept the consistent “Liang’s Love Songs”, but also experimented with different styles of music, such as Bossanova, Soft Rock, Folk, and so on.
In November of the same year, she released her first solo album “The Power of Love”. In 2005, with “Swallowtail Butterfly: The Determination of Love”, Jasmine Leung was nominated for the Best Mandarin Female Vocalist Award at the 16th Golden Melody Awards. In September of the same year, she released her 7th album “Silk Road The Road to Love”, which has since become a hit song in major competitions.
In 2006, Jasmine Leung released her 8th album “Kissing” in October.
In June 2015, Fish Leong covered the Mayday song 〈Gentle〉, included in the Mayday concept album “female also Herstory with Mayday”. In the same year, held “Your Name is Love” world tour.
In 2020, Jasmine Leung kicked off her new tour “202020 When We Talk About Love”. In the same year, with “How Am I? -The Sun Rises As It Always Rises” was nominated for Best Mandarin Female Vocalist at the 31st Golden Melody Awards for the 6th time, which is also the 11th time that Jasmine Leung has been nominated for this award.
